Nikki Catalano is illustrator and designer and lives in Sydney. Her work is a mixture of textures and colour and she often combines paper with textiles. The result is delightful and truly delicate.

Gunta Stölzl begins studies at the Bauhaus in Weimar, attends the first classes given by Paul Klee and Johannes Itten and works together with Marcel Breuer on their ceremonial “African Chair”. She is asked by Walter Gropius to head the newly founded women’s class (we are in 1920!) and becomes responsible for the Weaving Workshop, getting enough orders to work to capacity: wall hangings, carpets, blankets, textiles reflecting her masters´influence, as Kandinsky. Gunta Stölzl work is delightful, delicate and absolutely contemporary even if not very well known.

Aliette´s illustrations are so sweet and full of poetry. Even though they seem to be simple, their textures is full of little details that make them even warmer. Houses, trees, mountains, and flowers

Jake Blanchard finds inspiration basically in the nature but also in ancient civilisations and even mythology. With the use of simple lines, he creates textures, shapes and shadows that make its work very personal and different. That is why we like him!

Verónica has designed really nice illustrations and different objects under the name of Depeapa. She works with all kind of materials, from wood to felt or paper and manages to give them all a perfect finishing. We love the details, the colours, the designs…everything!

Sara Fanelli has worked for The New Yorker, Penguin Books, Faber and Faber, Tate Modern Gallery, Ron Arad, Issey Miyake, V&A Museum, and she has won a great number of awards but her most important work are her illustrations for children books.

Betony combines rubber stamps with pencil line work and she layers colour with geometric elements…the result is a delicate and quite poetic work that we really love.

Ana Ventura specialised in engraving at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and she has illustrated many books for children. Her work is beautiful.

León Ferrari and Mira Schendel are very important artists of the mid-20th century from Argentina and Brazil, who have maily worked in plastic art, sculpture and installations. But they also have a great graphic work made with letters and words that become fantastic graphisms…
